Objectives
This one-year programme is aimed at students who wish to start a career in wine management but have little or no prior experience in the wine industry.
The MSc combines industry-related teaching modules in administration, finance, sales, logistics and legal issues with oenology, wine tasting and wine tourism to provide students with the knowledge required for selling a product as unique as wine.
As a graduate of this programme, you will have gained a global understanding of this unique industry, enabling you to apply with confidence for managerial positions in all its sectors.

Pierre Joulié
Head of the MSc in Wine Management
Having graduated as an actuary from the elite Institut de Science Financière et d'Assurances, Pierre Joulié worked as Chief Trader for Lehman Brothers in the company's heyday in the '80s and as Director of Asset Management for a French bank.

In 1993 he joined the world famous Maison Latour and stayed with the company for more than a decade before founding his own wine business - Maison Joulié - in Beaune, in the heart of French wine country. After his success as visiting lecturer at Burgundy School of Business, Mr Joulié was invited to create the MSc in Wine Management in 2012. He has instilled his passion for wine, financial kudos and first-hand knowledge of the wine industry into this dynamic course.
